Albania's chances of convincing Barjan Gruda to wear the red and black jersey in the future have suffered a blow from Julian Nagelsman's latest decision. The coach of the German national team has decided to gather Albanian talent for training with the team, which will participate in "EURO 2024".
Gruda, who represents Germany with U-21, is seen as a player with a future and it is no wonder that the Mainz player is now wanted by bigger clubs like Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig or Liverpool. The boy is also monitored by the AFL, which has tried to convince him to wear the red and black shirt. But this decision may convince Gruda to wait for his chance with Germany.
He and Roko Raitz will train with the rest of the assembled squad before the European Championship until next Friday.
"Some of our representative players will be in action in the Cup and Champions League finals, so they will join the team later. In order for the team to train optimally in the first part of the preparations, we would like to give two promising young players the opportunity to show themselves with the A team ", was Nagelsman's comment about this invitation, which obviously brings Gruda even closer to the German representative.
