Dinamo made history 15 years after returning to the European Cups, qualifying for the third round of the Conference League for the first time. On Thursday, they will face Hajduk Split, where Silvinjo's assistant Ervin Bulku, who holds the position of deputy coach of the national team, previously played.
However, a statement by the latter, given to the Croatian media, has irritated the Dinamo club, as in it Bulku stated that 'despite being Albanian, he supports Hajduk Split'. The 'submarine' led by Ilir Daja says that it hopes that the statement is untrue and that Bulku explains it as soon as possible.
" Dinamo City Club expresses its indignation regarding a statement in the sports media by the deputy coach of the Albanian National Team, Mr. Ervin Bulku. It is completely inappropriate and shameful for Albanian football for a member of the National Team staff to come out against an Albanian team playing in European competitions, saying that he supports Dinamo City's opponent.
"We hope that this statement is untrue and that Mr. Bulku will clarify everything publicly as soon as possible ," Dinamo's response reads.
