Egnatia's sports director, Klejdi Zenelaj, has reacted to speculations about the possible appointment of Burim Kukeli as the champions' coach. In a statement to "Panorama Sport", he explained that up to this stage, no decision has been made and no advanced negotiations have taken place with any candidate.

According to Zenelaj, the club is still in the phase of evaluating options and there is nothing concrete regarding the names that are circulating in the media.
" We don't have anything real about anyone. We're just in discussions with many coaches, but we'll make the final decision after the end of the championship ," he said.
He emphasized that existing contacts are only at an initial level and far from a concrete agreement.
" So far we have no negotiations, what are called advanced, with any coach. They are simply preliminary discussions ," Zenelaj added.
The name of Kukeli in circulation
One of the most talked about names is that of Burim Kukeli, currently coach of Zurich U-21. The former Albanian national team midfielder has never managed a first team at professional level before, which makes his profile a potentially new choice for Egnatia.
