Australian pilot Oskar Piastri with McLaren won the Formula 1 sprint race held in Qatar this afternoon. A victory that came at the last corner, when his teammate Lando Norris passed him the lead.
A race dominated by Norris, who started him from "pole position" and maintained the lead throughout, but at the last corner he gave the victory to Piastre. The podium was completed by the third place of George Russell with Mercedes.
A well-deserved double victory for McLaren, which gets important points for the constructors' championship title, leaving behind Ferrari, in places 4-5 with its two pilots, respectively Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
The Red Bull cars performed poorly, with Max Verstappen qualifying eighth, behind Luis Hamilton (sixth) and Nicko Hulkenberg (seventh). While Sergio Perez was classified last with the other Red Bull car.
