McLaren's Lando Norris won the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix today, triumphing at the Zandvort circuit. A well-deserved triumph for the British driver, achieved at the home of his main title rival, Max Verstappen, who finished second. In front of his fans, the world champion with Red Bull could not triumph.
In third place was the Ferrari car of Sharls Leklerk, which thus climbs to the podium. Monaco managed to overtake Oskar Piastri in the other McLaren (fourth) thanks to a better tire change strategy. However, the "redhead" was far from the head.
The return of racing after the summer break confirmed once again the duel between McLaren and Red Bull, with the British significantly superior on the track. For Verstappen, this is the fifth race in a row without a win and he already leads with a 69 point difference over Norris, but the last appearances make the British optimistic.
For Norris, this is the second career triumph, both this season. The biggest battle was for the points zone, where the Spaniard Carlos Sainz with Ferrari was ranked fifth. He left behind Mexican Sergio Perez with Red Bull and the two Mercedes cars of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Gasli and Alonso also scored.
