The Albanian Football Federation was fined 173,000 euros by FIFA for the fans' inappropriate behavior in the match against Serbia in Tirana, as well as for reducing the stadium capacity by 20 percent in the next match against Latvia.
Even though the national team's ultras, the Red and Black Fans (TKZ), were not in the stadium, FIFA showed the Albanian Football Association the hefty fine. It was this fact that made the TKZ "stab" the federation.
According to them, this is the largest fine that the Albanian Football Association has received, even though it sought to control the fans and did not give tickets to their group, after a "war" that began with the co-organization of the Euro 2027 U21 between Albania and Serbia.
"Once they decided to eliminate TKZ from distributing tickets and here is the result: 161,000 euros in fines. This fine of such a large monetary value has never happened, not even when all fan groups were present in the stadium. This is the "controlled management" of tickets by the Albanian Football Association. This is the true reflection of the policy towards its loyal fans," writes TKZ.
