The Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation has imposed a 13-match suspension on Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada following the incident that occurred in the Aragonese derby against Huesca last weekend.

According to the official decision, Andrada was initially punished with a second yellow card, but then reacted by punching opposing player Jorge Pulido. As a result of the blow, Pulido suffered visible swelling in the cheek area.

The committee argued that 12 of the 13 match suspensions were related to violent conduct towards an opponent, while an additional match was given for a red card.

The incident caused tension on the pitch, leading to a brawl between players from both teams. Following the incident, Huesca goalkeeper Dani Jimenez was also suspended for four matches for his involvement in the altercation, while Zaragoza player Dani Tasende was given a two-match suspension.
