The Guardia Di Finanza raided the offices at "Casa Milan" today, seizing important documentation about the Rossoneri. The Italian police have been alerted through the documentation for serious financial irregularities of the Red and Black club, which risks serious national and international sanctions.
According to "Corriere.it", the Prosecutor's Office of Milan has opened an investigation into the delegated administrator of the club, Jorxho Furlani, as well as his predecessor, Ivan Gazidis, as they are accused of obstructing the work of the Italian Federation for the verification of the companies that actually own the clubs. Through the documents it has become clear that it is suspected that the owner of the club is not in fact the "RedBird" company with Jerry Cardinal as supervisor, but in fact the previous owner, "Elliot".
All these doubts arise from documents that were seized in the past years, but also that were found in the Arab tour that the current leaders of the red and black made during the winter, who were looking for potential investors. It is known that documents have been seized, including electronic devices including mobile phones, to prove these very serious suspicions.
In fact, if it is proven that it is "Elliot" who controls the club, Milan will face severe sanctions, since the company in question also owns Lila, to which, among other things, it has given a loan of 200 million euros and from which in recent years the red and black have received players like Rafael Leao and Mike Menjo. This broke the UEFA regulations that prohibits double ownership and thus, there would be sports penalties for the Italian and the French club.
