Albania girls today recognized the opponents they will face in the qualifiers for the European "Switzerland 2025".
In the draw made at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, Albania is positioned in group C5, where it will face Estonia and Luxembourg.
The qualifying matches will take place according to the round-robin system and according to the UEFA calendar, the meetings of this stage will start in April and the final challenges will be played in July.
After the qualifying matches, the Play-off phase will begin. The girls' national team can qualify for this stage if they are ranked first in Group C, or as one of the three best runners-up. In the event of qualifying for the Play-off stage, Albania will face one of the four third and fourth place teams of each group in the A League.
While in the second pot of the first round of the Play-off, the four first, second and third places of League B will face each other with a round-trip system and the six best teams will qualify for the second round . Then, the qualified teams in the second round will face each other, with a round-robin system, from which the seven other teams that will go to the European finals will be determined.
Also according to the scheme determined by UEFA, the five teams of League C that come out on top of their respective groups will go directly to League B. A good opportunity to move to League B will also be as the second place, since the three places the second-best teams in League C will face the three best third-placed teams in League B. The winners of these matches in the next qualifying edition will play in League B, while the losing teams will to play in the C League.
