Brajan Gruda will not stay at Leipzig, as the German club have decided not to buy the striker's card. The news was announced by journalist Florian Plettenberg, who confirms that the footballer will return to Brighton after the end of his loan.
" Brajan Gruda will officially say goodbye to Leipzig on Saturday. His loan expires and there is no purchase option ," writes Plettenberg.
According to him, Leipzig's management has been satisfied with the player's performances, who during this period recorded three goals and three assists.
" Leipzig are happy with him, but now he will return to Brighton after three goals and three assists. Another loan is not an option for Brighton, unless there is an obligation to buy ," the German journalist points out.
Plettenberg also adds that Leipzig currently does not have the necessary budget to make a final transfer of Gruda.
" At the moment, Leipzig does not have the financial means to make a permanent move for Gruda. It remains to be seen what Brighton's plans for the player will be ," he concludes.
