According to the memories of former athletes who have known Sabah Biz in training sessions with the national team, all of them, without exception, maintain an extraordinary respect for him.
The passing of a national figure of Albanian sports like Sabah Bizi is a loss for the Albanian football world, his family and the Vllaznia sports club. He started playing football with the first team of Vllaznia at the age of 17, in the role of left wing striker, on June 20, 1965. With this Vllaznia with which he won the Republic Cup that same season, thanks to the goal in the minute of extra time by Saba Bizi. The Vllaznia team, with Sabah Bizi, would win the “Republic Cup” four times and the Albanian “Championship” three times. The famous trio Rragami-Zhega¬-Bizi became a school for the “Vllaznia” team. One of the talents of Albanian football, Sabah Bizi became a footballer of the biggest team of Albania at the time, such as that of “Partizan” coached by another Shkodra native, the great master Loro Boriçi.
Also, with “Partizan” Sabah Bizi shone by winning two trophies. With Partizan he won the “Balkan” cup and played one of the most memorable matches against the Italian team of “Torino” and Advidaberg of Austria. He became a member of the national team and its captain, he was activated in 13 matches. The match with the Federal Republic of Germany, played in 1967, is remembered by Albanian sports fans in the duels with the “Kaiser” of the unforgettable German team Beckembauer… Without forgetting the crossbar of 1971, in the minimal defeat with the German team now with Gert Müller in Tirana with the score 1-0. Bizi was activated from 1965 to 1982, a full 13 years with the “Vllaznia” team and 3 years with “Partizan”.
The high pace of his athletic, technical and organizational qualities of a virtuoso, the spirit of competition, were determining his fate in Tirana next to the "Partizan" team. At a meeting of the then Prime Minister Mehemet Shehu at the Vau i Dejës hydroelectric power plant, who asked the workers' collective for their word on the completion of the works within the year. There, a worker came out and boldly told the Prime Minister: "We want Sabah Bizi!". After him, a second one and then many voices of Shkodra fans: "We want Sabah Bizi! We want Sabah Bizi!"...
Prime Minister Mehmet Shehu, who apparently stayed away from sports matters, asks:
- Who is this engineer Sabah Bizi, whom they love so persistently?
The Prime Minister, after being briefed by advisors and engineering-technical staff, promises the Shkodra fans that Sabah Biz will be in Shkodra tomorrow, as soon as we finish the five-year project!
They immediately transfer "engineer Sabah Biz" to his hometown of Shkodra and he resumes his activity with his team "Vllaznia", which raised him and gave him such a great name.

The weight of memory for this emblematic figure of this footballer is as great as the pain felt by his family and the world of Albanian football... The last farewell is for the world of the dead, but among us who are alive, Sabah Bizi will remain long in memory...
