Former famous footballer Paolo Di Canio, from the "Sky Sport" studios, has commented on Juventus' reinforcements, specifically the arrival of Lois Openda and Kosovo footballer, Edon Zhegrova.
He hinted that the pair in question is not of a high level.
" How can you say that Juventus have a great attack with Openda and Zhegrova? I understand that in Italy there are few choices, and when something small comes along, we make it look like something big ," declared Di Canio.
" Openda is a player who played as a freestyle at Leipzig, he was not a true center forward, but a winger who did whatever he wanted. There he could move freely because they are those players who know how to exploit the spaces, along with Sesko. And if you finish the championship in fourth, fifth or sixth place, no one will tell you anything. But when you come to Juventus, you have to have a clear role, to become a point of reference for the team. And Openda is not that, neither in terms of the game, nor in terms of numbers, he has never had great goal statistics ," added the Italian.
" The same goes for Zhegrova: he has quality, he has a beautiful left foot, he is a nice player to watch and we appreciate him because we don't have many like him. But when we see Orsolin or Politano, it seems to us that we are seeing Robben ," concluded the famous former footballer.
