Juventus has made official this Friday the renewal of the contract with coach Luciano Spalletti until the summer of 2028. The announcement, expected for weeks, was published discreetly through the club's social networks, accompanied by a message from the coach to the team.
Under the new deal, Spalletti will earn a salary of over €5 million per season, up from around €3 million he currently earns, with the possibility of increasing to €6 million through bonuses. With the contract, he is among the highest-paid coaches in Serie A, on par with Massimiliano Allegri and Gian Piero Gasperini, while Antonio Conte remains at the top with €8 million per season.
Support for the sports project
The two-year contract extension is seen as a clear sign of confidence from the club's management in Spalletti. Since his appointment on October 30, 2025, the coach has managed to restore stability and identity to Juventus' game. The team has accumulated 42 points in 22 championship matches, ranking fourth.
Juventus owner John Elkann had previously praised the coach's impact, stressing that he had brought "new energy to the dressing room" and restored "the hunger and determination to win."
Official statements
The club's executive director, Damien Komoli, confirmed the management's satisfaction with the continued cooperation:
" We are delighted to have extended Luciano's contract for a further two seasons. Since his arrival, he has had an immediate and very positive impact on the team and the entire club ."
Komoli added that Spalletti is considered the right figure to lead Juventus' sporting project, underlining that "stability and continuity are essential for future success."
objectives
With this renewal, Juventus aims to build a team competitive for the championship title, after a six-year period without a trophy in Serie A.
