The visit of the president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, to the municipality of Bujanovac was marked not only by participation in a children's tournament in the Presheva Valley, but also by a symbolic reaction from the "Red and Black Fans" fan group, which openly expressed dissatisfaction with the AFF's cooperation with Serbia.
During the tournament, which was organized with the support of the Albanian Football Association, at one of the sports fields in the area, red and black fans unfurled a banner with the message: "No to the state that denies us, no to "EURO 2027" with Serbia ."
This banner constitutes a direct protest against the decision of the Albanian Football Association (AFC) to co-organize with the Serbian Football Federation the finals of the European U-21 Championship in 2027.
The reaction of the "Red and Black Fans" is not new.
Since the moment this regional cooperation was made official, the well-known Albanian fan group has maintained a strong stance against Albania's involvement in a joint project with Serbia, considering cooperation with a state that continues to deny the rights of Albanians in the Valley unacceptable.
