The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, reacted after Albania's goalless draw against the Czech Republic in the League of Nations.
The duke thanked the players for their commitment on the field, as well as the staff and fans.
According to him, it would have been better if the chants and the Czech national anthem had been spared.
" We drew at home with the Czech Republic, a strong opponent who leads our group in the UEFA Nations League. I thank the boys of the team for their commitment on the field, the staff, as well as the fans for the support given from the stadium steps.
If we spared those roars at the moment of the Czech national anthem it would be even better. Now let's think about Tuesday's game with Ukraine, which we have to play as a final. With faith and the support of the fans, we can succeed" , writes Duka.
Albania drew without goals against the Czech Republic and holds the third place in the group with 7 accumulated points.
