The banner of the Romanian fans in the match against Kosovo seems to be answered by the high football authorities. UEFA announces that it has officially opened disciplinary procedures against the Romanian Football Federation.
We remember that Romania beat Kosovo 2-0, but the match was suspended for a few minutes because of the banner unfurled by the Romanian ultras, with an anti-Albanian message, which read "Kosovo is Serbia".
The accusations for which the Romanian side will be investigated are: provocative messages, racist behavior, lighting pyrotechnic devices and throwing things on the field.
On the other hand, Kosovo will look for points on the table. This is what is claimed after the scandal that happened on the steps of the Bucharest stadium.
The FFK has warned that within the framework of the legal procedures, for all the violations that have been committed, it will also prepare the necessary comments and submit the lawsuit to UEFA, as well as to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (KAS).
