A sad news has arrived for Albanian football. The former Lushnja player, Kristaq Gogoni, has passed away at the age of 83.
He is remembered for the contribution he made to the musketeer team, becoming the emblem and symbol of this team.
In addition to Lushnja, Gogoni also had an adventure at Partizan, which did not last long, returning once again to Lushnja to play with Traktor until 1975.
Who was Kristaq Gogoni?
He was born on October 20, 1940. He got his start in football with Lushnja, before moving on to Partizan. But he quickly withdrew from the reds, as his mind and desire was only to represent the lagoons. This is how he returned to Lushnjë again, playing until 1975 with Traktor.
At that time, it became the emblem of this team and after "hanging the shoes on the nail", it remained the symbol of this city. He was also a dedicated teacher and coach of sports classes. He was honored with the "Master of Sports" and "Honorary Citizen of Lushnja" decorations
