Despite Newcastle's resistance, Alexander Isak's move to Liverpool seems inevitable. The Swedish striker has rejected huge offers from Al-Hilal, as well as interest from other big clubs in Europe, and only wants Liverpool.
Isak's transfer to the English champions is expected to be completed for 150 million euros. With this amount earned from the sale of Isak, Newcastle are expected to make at least 3 sensational transfers. The "Coal Blacks" have identified the ideal replacement for Isak and it is precisely the Slovenian from Leipzig, Benjamin Sesko, although it is reported that Manchester United have reached an agreement in principle with the player. The Bundesliga club is asking for 80 million euros for the 22-year-old striker.
In midfield, Eddie Howe's choice is Inter's Nicolo Barella. His arrival could complete a top-class midfield trio alongside Guimaraes and Tonali.
Newcastle are also looking to strengthen their defence. Piero Hincapi, the Leverkusen centre-back, looks like the ideal reinforcement for the Coals' defence. The 23-year-old has already proven himself in the Bundesliga and European competitions, and his signing could be completed for a fee of around €40m.
