FIFA Best Player, Dembele and Mbappe in the race for the trophy

Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe are the two strongest contenders for the FIFA Best Player award, according to Leparisien.

Dembele won the Ballon d'Or in September after his strong season with PSG last season.

Meanwhile, Mbappe won the European Golden Shoe after scoring more goals than any other player in Europe's top five leagues last season.

Dembele and Mbappe recently played together as teammates for PSG before Mbappe joined Real Madrid in the 2024/25 season.

The two strikers are teammates for the France national team.

It remains to be seen who will be chosen to receive the award.
