Mallorca and Vedat Muriqi have officially announced the renewal of his contract. The Kosovo international striker will be part of the La Liga club until 2029. This is a strong sign of continuity and mutual recognition between the player and the Spaniards.
After arriving on loan on the island in January 2022, he quickly settled in and took charge of the team at a crucial time: Mallorca were struggling to avoid relegation from La Liga, but thanks to his fighting spirit and goals, they managed to stay in the league, and so he was finally bought, to the great delight of the fans. In three and a half seasons, the centre-forward made 118 appearances, scoring 35 goals and providing 11 assists. These impressive figures demonstrate the constant and decisive influence of “Il Pirata”, as he has always been known.
