Manaj breaks the curse but is followed by bad luck, scores the first goal of the season and leaves the field injured (Video)

Rei Manaj has broken the curse that followed him in the first weeks of the Turkish football championship, as he found his first goal for this edition today.

In the match against Gaziantepspor, Manaj was as usual the starter for Sivaspor and hit the net in the 37th minute of the match, to temporarily equalize the numbers at 1-1. After a corner kick, he unleashed an elusive header past the opposition goalkeeper, celebrating his first goal of the season in Turkey.

We remember that in the last edition, Manaj became the protagonist with 18 goals in 33 matches in the Turkish championship.

The celebration was short-lived for Manaj, who a few minutes later was injured, requiring immediate substitution before the end of the first half.
