Yes, I'm ready. The coach knows if I will play. I am fine, I just played two matches with the Albanian National Team and I can say that I am ready.
How do you describe yourself as a player in front of the fans?
I am a footballer who likes to play in attack. I like to help the team, assist, score as well. I can also play as a winger. My favorite position is like "10", but the coach knows better.
What are your and the team's goals for this season?
First I want to adapt as soon as possible. I want to learn what the coach wants and my aim here is to win trophies, to give the best for the team and the fans and this season we also have the Europa League, to do well there and move forward game by game.
What made you think that Rangers is the right step in your career?
The last five years I played in Italy. It is a very technical championship. I've spoken to a lot of players who have been in the Scottish Championship, Josh Toik, Liam Anderson, I've played with them as well. They both told me good things about Scotland and football. I am very happy to be here. I think I can help Rangers with my experience. I am still young, but I have gained experience.
Tell us a bit about transfer day…
I woke up in the morning and the agent called me telling me to get ready because we had a trip to London. We did everything there, the medical visits and I signed. The next day I flew to Glasgow and met the manager, the coach, went to the stadium and it was a bit stressful, but at the same time a happy day to join Rangers.
Do you think you can handle the pressure the Rangers have?
I think the pressure is there every weekend here, because playing for Rangers, you always have to win. I am happy that I will have such pressure because it will force me to give my best. We have a game tomorrow, we'll see.
