The Albanian Cup has learned today the names of the 8 quarterfinalist teams of this edition which remain in the race to win the trophy and secure a place in European competitions next summer.
After the qualification of Laç and Bylis on Tuesday, today the qualifications of Egnatia, Dinamo, Skënderbeg, Partizan, Elbasan and Vllaznia have also arrived, to complete an eight-team group that all belong to the Superior Category.
Based on the activity regulations, the pots for the quarter-finals of the Albanian Cup have been allocated.
In Pot 1 are: Egnatia, Partizani, Vllaznia and Skënderbeu.
In pot 2 are: Laçi, Dinamo, Bylis and AF Elbasani.
Unlike previous rounds that had a predetermined schedule, for the quarterfinals, a draw will be made to divide the pairs. Also, starting from the quarterfinal round, the duels between them will be a round-robin and not a single match as has been done so far.
