Albanian model Kleofina (Pnishi) Pavard has opened her heart for the first time about her love with French footballer Benjamin Pavard, recounting details of their relationship and the "challenges" the footballer went through to win her heart and family.
Kleofina revealed that she didn't have the courage to tell her father about her love herself and it was her brother who broke the news. Initially, her father didn't agree and was worried about the fact that Benjamin was a footballer and famous.
" 6 months passed, and I was still in love, my brother went to meet her and tell her again. Benjamin went to meet his father, his father didn't come out to meet him for three days. I begged him a lot, I told him to please come out because I have never disappointed you. If I took this step, I thought about all aspects, the children, " she said on "Good Morning Stars".
Kleofina says that her father had concerns about the children's traditions and Albanian language, but their first meeting went better than he had thought.
" The father is annoyed that traditions will not be followed, that the children do not speak Albanian. When they met, it was like love at first sight, I did not believe it, they got along better than I believed. He made his father his own. He adapts to people. At first he did not know who he was, then he checked who he was, he saw that there was no bad news about him ," she said.
Kleofina also confessed that she and Pavard met in 2018 through a mutual friend.
As she explained, for five years, they never went out together, yet Benjamin always showed interest, coming to birthday parties where Kleofina was also present and asking her friends about her.
" We met in 2018, I thought like a father that I wanted an Albanian man. His close friend was in a relationship with my close friend and we met on her birthday. I didn't think he would be my future, I didn't like him at first. The moment he met me, he told this friend of his that "I can have other girlfriends, this will be too, but in the end I will marry this one ."
Until 2023, we never went out together, while he sent flowers, asked friends, at every birthday he came to say that I was there too. There was an affair at this time. At my friend's engagement, I saw that the problem was me, I realized that with her I was myself. I told her you are not Albanian and you are not for me, I don't like you physically.
Now that I think about it, I say I wasn't good. I thought that if I continued like this I could lose him, to continue his life. When you realize that you are losing someone, it opens your eyes. At that moment I said " how is it possible that in these 5 years I haven't loved him ", she confessed.
Kleofina also revealed that Benjamin has visited Kosovo twice and has even learned a few Albanian words.
In a video call with his partner and moderator Arbana Osmani, the footballer shared some words of love he learned in Albanian.
" Eat your heart. Love. Heart. I love you ," he said.

Arbana Osmani: We are fine, how are you?
Benjamin Pavard: Okay, okay, thank you!
Arbana Osmani: What have you learned in Albanian?
Benjamin Pavard: Do you want juice, do you want coffee?
Kleofina: I taught her to ask me, mother, when is she coming?
Arbana Osmani: What words of love have you learned?
