The former footballer of the Albanian national team, Taulant Xhaka, has conquered the sports media again, after a terrible intervention against his opponent in the Basel-Grasshoppers match, this past Saturday.
Basel-Grasshoppers is a Swiss football classic and definitely a hot match. Taulant Xhaka left the playing field only 18 minutes after the start of the challenge against Amir Abrashi's team.

The Albanian midfielder did not calculate his movement well and hit Morandi of the opposing team with his heel, leaving the latter injured. The referee had no doubts and immediately showed him the red card, leaving Basel with 10 players in the 18th minute.
This was the first red card for Xhaka this season, the 7th in his career for the former midfielder of the National Team, who is one of the most representative players of Basel. Due to the very harsh interference, Taulant Xhaka has been subject to investigation by the Disciplinary Commission of the Swiss Super League. This commission has decided today to punish the former midfielder of the Albanian National Team with a two-match suspension.
