In his pre-match press conference against Arsenal, Guardiola was full of irony and candor. He commented on the huge spending by Manchester City and other Premier League clubs, challenging the idea that success comes only from club investment:

Guardiola used the provocation to defend his team, emphasizing that City have won everything not only because of investment, but also the qualities of the players and staff: " Every club has done what it wanted.
