According to this thesis, the universe seems to have bestowed a special "magic" on footballers born on this date. It is enough to mention some of the most famous names in world football who celebrate their birthday on February 5, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Carlos Tevez and George Hagi.
The list doesn't end there. Other notable footballers born on this day include Giovanni van Bronkhorst, Vedran Corluka, Adnan Januzaj, Patrick Roberts and Billy Sharp. Although, according to the article, the ideal formation would have shortcomings in defense or goal, the attacking power and creativity of this group would make any match extremely difficult for opponents.
SunSport says it tried to take this idea a step further, seeking to build the best possible team based on the players' birth dates. The process proved to be longer and more complex than anticipated, which led the authors to another solution: ranking the five best players born on each day of the year.
In conclusion, although it is a more symbolic than scientific approach, February 5th continues to remain a special date in the world of football, raising the question of whether any other day of the year can "take the crown" from this date.
