Cristiano Ronaldo, the former striker of Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United, the five-time winner of the Champions League, was rated as the player with the most goals scored in the top European competition for clubs shortly before the draw of this edition. The Portuguese made several statements from the stage:
" The Champions League is a legendary competition, it was fantastic to play and score so much in it. When the anthem starts you go absolutely crazy, it's fantastic. I have fantastic memories from Champions League matches and I am happy to receive this recognition. I do not regret my choice to go to Arabia, but we will see what happens. The future is unpredictable ."
What was your best moment in the Champions League?
It's hard to say, but maybe the first Champions League won with Manchester United, with my goal in Moscow. One of my favorites. Then I must clearly mention Real Madrid, winning the tenth Champions League in 2014, in Portugal, in front of my people. The Champions League is a competition of small details, very difficult to win.
