For the first time in history, a female coach takes charge of England's professional men's team

Forest Green Rovers will be coached by 39-year-old Hana Dingley, who for the first time in history becomes a female manager to take charge of a professional men's team in England.

Dingley has previously been the club's head of academy and with relegation, she was appointed as first team coach. Her appointment is temporary and it is expected that there will be a second decision, however she is expected to make her debut at the head of the bench in the friendly match against Melksham.

The 39-year-old has written her name in history once again when she was appointed head of the football academy, being the first woman to take this post at a professional club for men.
