Enkileda Carja is confirmed once again as the most talented girl in Albanian weightlifting. The 15-year-old from Elbasan has made an extraordinary appearance at the U-15 European Championship that is being held in Chisinau, Moldova, and she has given Albania 3 gold medals, which have come with 5 European records for this age group.
A fantastic form from Carja, who is a talent from the Elbasani team of coach Eglantina Kalemi.
Enkileda Carja competed in the 59 kg weight category, entering the competition as the main favorite to be declared champion.
The weightlifter from Elbasan started off on a good foot, as in the first test she set a European record in the breakaway with 81 kg.
But he didn't stop there, even in the second test he successfully cleared 84 kg, improving the record again, to secure his first gold medal.
Then it was the turn of the push style, where again Carja proved to be fantastic, as in the first test he set the third European record by lifting 97 kg, to improve it in the second test, successfully performing 100 kg to also secure the second gold medal.
So with 184 kg, Carja also won her third gold medal with another European record in the doubles, to close a phenomenal competition as a triple champion with 5 European records for the U-15 age group.
At the end it was the turn of the ceremony with the red and black Albanian flag that went up to the highest step of the podium and with the Albanian anthem in the background.
Thus, after the three bronze medals won a year ago at the European 2022, Carja already won gold this season, being confirmed as a new star in the Albanian barbell. We remember that just a few months ago, Enkileda won 2 bronze medals at the World Age Championship held in Durrës.
Albania in the European Championship for U-15 and for young people, which is being held in Moldova, is presented with two athletes, as after the competition of Carja, tomorrow it will be the turn of Samoel Rrasa, who is also aiming for the area medal.
