Albania U-19 will play two friendly matches against Kosovo U-19 on June 14 and 16 at "Kukës Arena".
On the eve of these meetings, the defender of Arsenal's youth, Maldini Kacurri, said that they are important matches, even though they are friendly.
" I am very pleased to have received the invitation from the U-19 National Team for the two friendlies with Kosovo. I will give my best in these two matches. Meanwhile, we have started the preparations and are working hard for these challenges, we will be fully ready to give 100% to Kosovo. Although friendly, they are two important matches for us and of course we intend to win them and then we will continue the work to grow as a group ", said Kacurri.
Meanwhile, Dinamo's talent, Orest Kasmollari, said that the team is doing well, as the group is positive. He added that these two friendlies will help prepare the European qualifiers.
" I am very happy for the invitation, it is not the first time for me to gather with the national teams of the ages. We have a very good and quality group, I think we will make a very good appearance in these friendlies. The atmosphere I have found here is very good and the staff has welcomed us well, we know coach Ervin Bulku, as some of us have worked with him at the U-17 National Team.
I have a lot of faith in this group of players and I believe we will get positive results. We will prepare for the European qualifiers that will be played in October and I am convinced that we will create a very strong group. Like every footballer who is here, I also aim to one day play with National Team A in the future ," said Kasmollari.
The U-19 national team will train on the fields of the 'House of Football', while on June 13 it will head to Kukës, where on June 14, it will play the first match against its peers from Kosovo, at the Kukës Arena stadium, starting at 18:00.
Two days later, on June 16, Albania U-19 will play the second match against Kosovo, at the Kukës Arena stadium at 10:30.
The technical staff of the U-19 national team, led by coach Ervin Bulku, will have the opportunity to test the group in these two friendlies and try out the team and young and talented players coming to the U-19 national team.
