Former Albanian national team midfielder, Ledjon Memushaj, is starting to successfully build his career as a coach in Italian football. After a long career as a footballer, where he was also active in the Italian football elite, the 39-year-old from Vlora has already entered the radars of several Serie C clubs.
Memushaj took his first steps as a coach at Pescara's academy, immediately after ending his playing career. He then had a brief stint in Albania, as assistant to Luixhi Di Biaxhio at Dinamo in the Superior Category.
After the Italian coach left the capital club, Memushaj returned to Italy, where he continued his involvement with the Pescara academy. Last season, he tried out the role of head coach for the first time, leading Leon in Serie D.
His experience on the bench is considered positive, as the team managed to compete for promotion to a higher category. It is precisely this performance that has made several clubs interested in his services.
According to reports from Italy, one of the most interested clubs is Altamura, a team that plays in Serie C and aims to climb to Serie B. If the parties reach an agreement, this would be an important step in Ledjon Memushaj's new career as a coach.
