Etrit Berisha is experiencing one of the best moments of his career in Sweden. The transfer to Haken, in April of this year, proved to be the right move for the Albanian goalkeeper, who has become a key figure for the team, also with goals scored.
Berisha was the absolute protagonist in Haken's success in the second round of the Europa League, where the Swedish team eliminated Anderlecht after a dramatic penalty shootout. The former national team goalkeeper excelled by saving one penalty and scoring another, to lead the team to qualification.
His impressive form has not gone unnoticed by the club's management. Haken has formalized the renewal of Berisha's contract, tying him to the club until the summer of 2027. A well-deserved reward for his performances in goal.
" We have done a lot of good things during the months I have been here. We have a team that has good potential and can do even better in the future. That is why I feel good to extend the contract. When I arrived, I was surprised how good everything is here; the training center, the players and the managers ," said Etrit Berisha.
With the good form shown, Berisha seems to have given Silvinjo a signal for a return to the National Team.
