Kosovo resists for 83 minutes but without being able to emerge victorious from the Bucharest stadium. "Dardans" have been defeated with a clean score of 2-0 and are almost hopeless to secure a ticket to the finals of "EURO 2024" that will take place next year in Germany.

With this victory, Romania climbs to the 2nd place with 12 points, while Kosovo holds the 5th place with 4 points, together with Belarus.
In next month's challenges, Kosovo will have an easy transfer on paper, as they will face Andorra, while Romania will travel to Belarus.

The referee and the match delegate put an end to the doubts and returned the teams to the dressing rooms, to make it clear that from now on such things will not be tolerated, not even in countries like Romania which has not officially recognized the independence of Kosovo .
The match between Romania and Kosovo resumed after more than 20 minutes of interruption. This was the final warning and if the racist chants were repeated, the referee would eventually cancel the match.
