Real Madrid recorded a clean 2-0 victory at home against Levante, in the match valid for week 20 of the Spanish championship.
Despite the success on the pitch, the atmosphere in the stadium was tense, as fans openly expressed their dissatisfaction with the team and the club's management, accompanying the players with constant boos. The loss in the Spanish Super Cup final to Barcelona, as well as the elimination from the King's Cup, have significantly influenced the reaction of the fans, who erupted in protests during the match. Almost all of Real Madrid's players were booed, with the exception of Kylian Mbappe.
Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Júnior were particularly targeted. The discontent was not limited to the players, as a significant section of the fans also called for the resignation of the club's president, Florentino Pérez. Chants of " Florentino, resign " were clearly heard in the stadium and were supported by many fans.
After the end of the first half, as the teams headed towards the tunnel, the chants against the Real Madrid president were repeated, this time with significantly greater intensity than earlier in the match.
