Some of the matches of week 22 in the Premier League have been completed. At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea won 2-0 against Brentford, thanks to two mistakes made by the opponent.
The score was unblocked in the 25th minute, by Joao Pedro, the Brazilian took advantage of a lost ball from Kayode and after a strong left-footed shot, the ball ended up in the net. In the 75th minute, the newly entered Liam Delap was thwarted in the area by goalkeeper Caoimhin Keleher, a penalty for the “Blues”. Kol Palmer proved accurate and doubled the figures.
At Anfield Road, Liverpool drew 1-1 with second-bottom Burnley, disappointing again. In the 32nd minute, Dominik Szoboslai had a golden chance to put the Reds ahead from the penalty spot after a foul in the area, but the Hungarian's powerful shot hit the crossbar. The score was unblocked in the 42nd minute, Florian Uirc found the goal to put the Reds ahead. The home team equalized in the second half, Markus Eduards scoring after an assist from Florentino. Armando Broja started the game and played 74 minutes, but failed to find the net.
In other matches, Sunderland won 2-1 at home against Crystal Palace. Tottenham lost 1-2 at home in the London derby to West Ham. Leeds eventually won 1-0 against Fulham with a goal from substitute Lukas Nmeca.
