Kylian Mbappe scored three goals in the first half of the match between Olympiacos and Real Madrid in Greece, and for the French striker, that was enough to make history, as he took the top spot in the Champions League's top scorers rankings today.

This was his third hat-trick in the Champions League since he wore the Real Madrid shirt, surpassed only by Benzema (4), Puskas and Di Stefano (5) and Cristiano Ronaldo (7) in the club's history.

The three goals scored within 6 minutes and 42 seconds make this the second fastest hat-trick in Champions League history, surpassed only by Salah who scored against Rangers in 2022 in 6 minutes and 13 seconds.
