For those footballers who have rejected the National Team to which they belong. Sotir Nini, is one of the concrete cases, which with documentation preferred to be called Sotiris Ninis. Already at the age of 33, failure continues to haunt him in his football career.
The last match in which Ninis was activated, dates back to April 1, 2023, when he was part of PAS Ioannina, as recently, the 33-year-old midfielder has stopped cooperation with the latter and has now been left without a team. With the team from Ioannina, Ninis, he played nine games without scoring a single goal.
The attacking player from Himara made his debut with the Greek national team in May 2008. He made it all the way to Parma in Serie A, but his career went downhill after that.
And this is the fifth time in his career that the footballer born in Albania remains without a team. During his career, Ninis also played with teams such as Panathinaikos, PAOK, Charleroi, Mechelen, Petah Tikva, Ashkelon and Volos.
