Shakira will once again return to the World Cup atmosphere, this time with the song "Dai Dai", which has been selected as the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup. The news was made public by the artist herself through a short video on social networks, where she announced that the musical project will be released on May 14.
The 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, while Shakira's return has sparked numerous positive reactions among football and music fans around the world.
This marks the third time the Colombian artist has been linked to the musical history of the World Cup. In 2010, she achieved global success with the hit "Waka Waka (This Is Africa)", the official song of the World Cup in South Africa, while in 2014 she released "La La La" for the World Cup in Brazil.
In the promotional video for the new song, shot at the legendary Maracana stadium, Shakira appears in a festive atmosphere, accompanied by dancers and symbolic football elements. The artist performs fragments from "Dai Dai", increasing expectations for the new musical project.
The song's title, which translates to "come" in Italian, has sparked public curiosity and speculation that the project will bring dynamic rhythms and energy similar to the iconic anthems of previous World Cups.
