Teammate of former Tirana player, 28-year-old footballer dies after jumping from 11th floor of building

Sad news has shocked the football world today. Footballer Aron Boupendza has died after jumping from the 11th floor of a building in China.

The 28-year-old played alongside Florent Hasan at Rapid Bucharest earlier this season. After impressing for the Romanian club, it was Zhejiang who bought his card in China.

The former footballer, who was also part of the Gabon national team, has left some shadows over his death. It is still not known whether Boupendza slipped, was murdered or committed suicide.

Boupendza was absent from the last training session, without providing an excuse. An investigation has now been opened.
