The former defender of the Albanian National Team, Armend Dallku, has gone back in time and talked about the past. Speaking to "Telegrafi", Dallku dwelled on the reason for his departure from the National Team, saying that he did not want to be a burden and that he paved the way for Elseid Hysaj, who at that time was a young man with prospects.
" I have a good one, when I see that I am not giving my best, I leave that job. I make decisions very quickly. I refer to Hysaj, who was a player who played in my position. I have seen the boy with a lot of perspective and who has possibilities.
I never want to be a burden on anything. Everything should be meritocracy. Each person has his own period to contribute. I considered that it would be the end of my journey ", were the words of Armend Dallk.
The former defender also gave a comment about what Silvinjo could have done differently in the European Championship with Albania:
" The journey has been very good, very positive, as it is only the second time. It is an extraordinary experience for the federation, the organization, the players and the coach. Insert here that it has been the "group from hell" for us, unfortunately, but I think we played very positive matches.
In my opinion, Silvinjo should have played a little with the scheme, because in a tournament like this one has to risk a bit with the scheme. Maybe he would play with a 3-5-2 formation, taking into account that our players adapt to the scheme when it is known that most of them play in Italy with this system.
But the coach has his own opinion and starts and ends all matches with the same scheme ", said Dallku, among other things.
