Sheila Eban, the mother of Barcelona and Spanish national team talent Lamine Yamal, has attracted the attention of the British media after deciding to organize a gala event where fans can pay to dine with her.
At just 18 years old, Yamal has become one of the most talked-about names in world football thanks to his impressive performances, and it seems his family is capitalizing on this popularity.
According to the DailyMail, Eventbrite has announced a festive evening hosted by JEN C Events, where Sheila Eban will be the special guest. "Get ready to meet Sheila Eban, the mother of Lamine Yamal, one of the best footballers in the world, at an exclusive Christmas party," the event description reads.
The event will take place on November 7 in London and is open only to people over 18. The price of a standard ticket is around 150 euros and includes a welcome drink and a three-course dinner. A second version of the ticket, which also adds a bottle of wine, costs 170 euros. The VIP package, which offers unlimited drinks and the opportunity to be photographed with Sheila Eban, reaches up to 360 euros but this category of tickets is already sold out.
This event is seen as a new way for the Yamal family to be closer to fans, but also as an example of the growth of the market for exclusive events related to sports stars.
