On Saturday night, October 11, an Albanian family was attacked by a group of Serbian fans in Zurich, Switzerland.
The serious incident occurred immediately after the Serbia-Albania football match, where the "red-blacks" achieved a historic victory in Leskovac with a score of 0-1 with a goal from Rey Manaj.
The family in question had gone out to celebrate the national team's victory, and were traveling in their car, waving the Albanian flag, reports Klan Kosova.
This case was also reported by the well-known newspaper Blick, which says that a young man destroyed the car's windshield with a sharp object.
"Shards of glass flew into the back, where our 10-year-old daughter was," said the Albanian woman who was in the car with her husband and daughter.
With tears in her eyes, she confessed that she had never imagined that such a thing would happen in Switzerland. The Zurich police were also notified of the case, although it was not the only incident that evening.
Even in Luzern, after the match, there were reports of fights and provocations between fans of Serbia and Albania.
