The 2026 World Cup is taking shape, as a large number of national teams have already officially secured participation in the tournament that will take place in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
These three countries are also the organizers of the historic edition with 48 teams. From Oceania, New Zealand has secured participation.
In Asia, Japan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Australia, South Korea, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have secured their place in the 2026 World Cup. In South America, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia have already qualified.
While Africa will be represented by: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, South Africa, Ivory Coast and Senegal.
From Europe, only England has qualified so far, while many other teams are still in the running for the remaining places that will be determined during November.
The 2026 World Cup will be the largest in history, with 48 participating teams and will take place in 16 host cities across the three host countries.
