Fans break through stadium fence and try to enter pitch, fistfight breaks out in Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final (Video)

The quarterfinal match of the Africa Cup of Nations between Algeria and Nigeria ended with a 2-0 victory for the Nigerians and a very tense situation.

At the end of the match, fights broke out on the field between players from both teams, while the Algerians protested to the match referee, who was surrounded by stewards.

The situation got completely out of control to the point that in the front stands of the stadium in Marrakech, the security cordon was broken by fans and many of them managed to get into the athletics track surrounding the field, with the situation taking time to calm down.
