Mourning in Greek football for the untimely death of 31-year-old George Baldock, who was found dead on Wednesday evening in the swimming pool of his home in Glyfada.

The 31-year-old's wife, who was in England with their daughter, was trying to contact the Greek player but was unsuccessful. She called the owner of the house Baldock was renting so he could go and find out what was going on.
The owner went to the apartment and found the 31-year-old football player dead in his pool. According to information from protothema.gr, Baldock had been dead in the pool for at least 5 hours, while more information is expected to emerge after the autopsy.
The police seized the security cameras, while the fingerprints were also taken in the house where the 31-year-old lost his life. It is reported that there are no signs of violence on his body.

He had swallowed water while he was alive. He was wearing his bathing suit, which indicates that he may have been bathing when the fatal incident occurred.
