The coach of the Astana team, Grigori Babajan, has clear ideas that in order to qualify against Partizan, his team must create an advantage in the first challenge at home. Speaking to reporters today, he explained that the long European transfers were a problem for his team, so he was hoping for Astana to get a result in the first leg to help them qualify against the Reds.
" Tomorrow is one of the most important matches, our main objective is to reach the Conference League groups. It is clear that the opponents are a serious European team, very aggressive, it immediately catches the eye. This is very important considering that we have a long journey ahead, which is one more load. It is essential and important for us to do everything tomorrow in order to go into the second leg in good conditions. Maybe tomorrow the stands will not be full, but I hope that those fans who will come to the stadium, will support us and be with us until the end.
Currently we are not thinking about the match with Kairat, for us now the priority is the Conference League. We have to make sure that we face these two matches in optimal conditions. It is difficult to say how we will play against Kairat.
