The coach of Partizan, Zoran Zekic, appeared today in front of the media in the last press conference before the match against Astana, in the third round of the Conference League. He answered the questions of local journalists, who were curious to know how an elimination of the reds would look and what "trap" they had prepared to stop the Kazakh favorites.

We had the same situation before the matches with the club from Andorra. But football is football. Astana is the favorite tomorrow, but I hope our team will perform better.
Does the team realize that Astana is a much more serious opponent on paper than Partizan's previous opponents in European competitions?
Yes of course. But our last games with Valmieran were not easy either.
What can you highlight in Astana?
I know Marin Tomasov as I trained in Croatia and crossed paths with him. I also know Lonçar and goalkeeper Çondriç. Tomorrow, the most important thing for us is to play as a team.
Astana always struggle at home in European competitions, but often lose away from home with devastating results. How will your team play tomorrow, offensive or defensive football?
The journey was long and tiring. Tomorrow we have to play with concentration and calmness. Astana has extensive experience in Europe. I also have to mention the special carpet in the Astana stadium.
Can it be said that the presence of a large number of young players is partly an advantage for you? As they are hungry for victory and will do anything to reach the group stage for the first time…
We don't have much experience in European competitions, but there is really a lot of motivation. Unfortunately, I can't run on the pitch to help the players, but we are well prepared and I hope the team will do well.
Have you consulted the defender Atanaskoski, who previously played in the championship of Kazakhstan?
He didn't come because he got a yellow card. I know enough about Astana, especially due to the fact that I followed the matches against Dinamo Zagreb and Ludogorets.
Yesterday at the airport, your team met some young Partizan fans, who had also prepared banners for the players. Have you faced other times with this fact that in other countries you have fans who support you?
Partizan is a big club, many people support our team, especially in Albania. You will come and see our stadium, how our fans support the team. The fact that they are "sick" behind us is absolutely normal.
