The Durrës Police and Prosecutor's Office have started investigations into the death of Egnatia's football player, Raphael Dwamena, who suffered a heart attack on the green field during the match against Partizan.
The autopsy is expected to be released today to reveal more details about the incident. All the medical records of the player in the AFL or in the club of Egnatia have been seized.
The doctors who assisted in his tests were also asked, who stated that the tests since January, when he was in our country, have come out according to the allowed norms.
The protocol and response time of the doctors and the ambulance was also checked and according to the investigations, everything was on time despite the fact that the life of the 28-year-old could not be saved.
Egnatia striker and captain Raphael Dwamena passed away at the age of 28 yesterday. During the match between Egnatia and Partizan (1-1) for the 13th week in the Super League, the Ghanaian fell to the ground at the "Arena Egnatia" stadium in Rrogozhin in the 24th minute. The doctors gave him first aid and he was taken to the hospital. but the attacker did not survive the third heart attack.
