Albania has secured two medals at the World Weightlifting Championships taking place in Ismailia, thanks to the performance of Enkileda Carjas. The 18-year-old athlete competed in the 69 kg category, where she managed to climb the podium twice, marking another positive result for the red and black sport.


Under the guidance of coach Eglantina Kalemi, Carja demonstrated a high level in a strong international competition. Her performance in Egypt is considered a continuation of her previous good results, while she was recently awarded the "Rising Star" award of Europe.


During the competition, the Albanian athlete stood out for her calmness and precision in lifting, representing Albania on the world stage. The medals were presented to her by the president of the Albanian Weightlifting Federation, Elez Gjoza, in a moment that was considered a moment of pride for the Albanian delegation.


According to the Albanian Weightlifting Federation, this result is another positive signal for the development of this sport in the country.
